Risotto from my childhood


On Sunday evening, my grandmother prepares us “her” risotto, with the broth of the potted chicken eaten all together at lunch. Come and join us at the family table at 7pm sharp, you will love it.

Ingredients from our Risotto

Ingredients: Rice (15%), minced beef* (14%), semi-salted bacon* (10%), sausage meat* (10%), onion, almond puree, red wine (sulphites), olive oil, garlic, saffron

Focus on one ingredient : almond puree

Depending on the preparation of the almonds, the puree will not be the same. If the almonds are shelled, the puree will be called “white” but if they keep their skin, it will be called “complete”. The brown puree will obviously have a more pronounced taste and more nutritional qualities preserved since it retains all the nutrients present in the almond skin.

Almond puree, whether whole or white, helps fight against the most common nutrient deficiencies. Consuming it regularly helps to avoid sluggishness. It is also rich in vitamin E, known for its anti-oxidant properties.

Be careful, almond puree is high in fat. However, they are unsaturated fatty acids that help regulate the level of bad cholesterol in the body and therefore reduce the risk of a cardiovascular accident.

In cooking, almond puree is a tasty alternative to eggs and butter. It is therefore particularly suitable for vegan and lactose-free diets. In addition, it has an excellent fiber content which gives it satiating properties.

A 250 g jar is equivalent to a portion for one person.
After reheating, your Petit Plat d’Arthur can be eaten simply with a fork in the jar.
Our jars can be stored at room temperature for 3 years from the date of manufacture (DLUO indicated on the label).


Tips & Advice

Reheat your closed jar 1 min 30 in the microwave (850W) or 8 min in a water bath in order to avoid any cross-contamination).
If necessary, after opening, keep your jar in the refrigerator and consume it quickly.
